Our linen is grown in Italy, Belgium and France, where the oceanic climate is best suited for flax production. From there it is spun and vat dyed for brilliant even colour and light fastness, before arriving at our mill in Plettenberg Bay to be woven into our premium linen fabric.
Mungo linen is light and breathable, and perfect for regulating temperatures throughout the seasons. Naturally crisp and cool to the touch, linen will age gracefully; softening with time and use.
We are proud to be one of just a handful of linen weavers in South Africa.

Note that our fabric is 180cm in width – wider products will be blind seamed with a panel on each side.
